Enginereed Hardwood Floors
Engineered wood flooring has gained much popularity in the recent years since most new constructions around the world are using concrete subfloors. With concrete subfloors, engineered wood floors can be easily glued or floated in a fraction of the original time. The ease of installation combined with elegant customizable look and durability has made engineered wood products a very attractive choice for modern lifestyle.
Our core layer is comprised of 10 layers of plywood made from Birch and Poplar wood to provide greater stability and durability. Birch is a hardwood harvested in most of the Northern hemisphere. It is a very hard lumber and makes superior plywood that is stable, affordable and durable. Poplar lumber offers very little shrinkage and has excellent gluing qualities. It is a soft wood species which accommodates nails and screws without splitting. Most products in the market are 3 to 5 layers and are made out of pine core.
Synfonia Floors top layer products are designed to be square edged in order to provide a clean look, and avoid collectionof dust and debris at the seams. Square edged planks are harder to make and take longer to manufacture, but at Synfonia Floors we strive for utmost quality and uniqueness.
